THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - A brain research seminar in Thousand Oaks will cover topics ranging from Alzheimer's to antidepressants.
Called "The Brain: In Sickness and in Health," the California Lutheran University symposium will probe cutting-edge brain research.
Dr. Lorne Label of UCLA Health will talk about the future of neurology. UCLA professor Anne Andrews will talk about antidepressants. Stephen Wood of Amgen will focus on Alzheimer's disease.
The program, CLU's third-annual Cell Biology Symposium, is free. It runs on April 10 from 8 a.m. to noon at the university's Lundring Events Center, north of Olsen Road between Campus Drive and Mountclef Boulevard. The program starts with a continental breakfast.
