The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter weather advisory for snow for Erie and Crawford counties that is in effect today through 7 a.m. Monday.
The weather advisory also is in effect for Venango, Mercer and Warren counties.
A winter storm watch issued Friday for the region this weekend is no longer in effect.
The weather advisory is calling for possible snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches. Snow is expected in the region throughout today, and ending tonight.
The most intense snow is expected to be from shortly after sunrise today to early afternoon. More snow is possible during the evening, according to the weather service. Snow is expected to gradually end tonight. Snow is the main threat during the advisory. Hazardous travel conditions and reduced visibility are expected.
